All our plug-ins highly depend on a static blocksize due to the high amount of complex calculations. Unfortunately, FL Studio (formerly Fruity Loops) is unpredictable when it comes to blocksize handling.
We found the following workaround to avoid a freeze of FL Studio or problems with the audio playback:
-
de-activate the plug-ins on the insert you would like to load it (orange icon)
-
load proximity:EQ+ for this channel
-
enable "Use fixed size buffers":
-
click the "Settings" icon in the top-left corner
-
switch to the "Processing" tab
-
tick the “Used fixed size buffer” checkbox
-
-
activate the plug-ins on the insert again
-
save the actual state of the plug-in in a Fruity Loops preset (.FST)
-
audio should start to flow now each time an instance of the plug-in is loaded
By doing so, the Fixed Buffer Size option can be enabled without loading the plug-in.
