Note: prime:vocal v1.0.0 supports ARA only in a beta version. As a result, processing may occasionally be unstable and could lead to unexpected crashes. For a detailed list of known issues related to prime:vocal's ARA support, please visit this page.
In Cubase, ARA plug-ins are not added as traditional insert effects for a track; instead, they must be applied as an "Extension" effect on specific audio events (audio clips).
- Create a new audio track in your Cubase session.
- Add one or more audio clips to the track.
- Select an audio event (clip) and choose "Audio > Extensions > prime:vocal" or click "Extension" in the Info Line at the top right of the project window and select prime:vocal.
- prime:vocal will now open in the Event Editor window, where the audio data of all clips on the track where prime:vocal was applied as an Extension will be visible.
- When the Event Editor is open, you can add or remove events (clips) by clicking "Add Event" or "Remove Event" at the top of the event editor window.
